A form of Nordic skiing, also known as X-Country or XC Skiing (Langlauf in German, Ski de Fond in French). Our cross-country ski holidays are in the main on machine-groomed trails, though some may include some off-piste/off track skiing. Some are guided most can be self-guided.

One of the joys that has long been part of cross-country skiing is finding the warm, cozy huts, lodges or inns along the way.
