Wed 9th Dec 2009 - Fresh Snow at Lake Tahoe
Storms have dumped up to 1 metre of fresh snow in Tahoe's higher altitudes with more expected in the next day or so.

With the storm passed the roads are clear providing access to epic powder skiing at Lake Tahoe's mountain ski resorts, including the likes of Heavenly Mountain Resort and Squaw Valley USA.

“Christmas is here,” said Carol Chaplin, executive director of the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority. “Obviously Santa and El Nino are working together to provide a solid base for the upcoming holiday season and beyond."
